Once a month, Sunday mornings at Luma are all about connection, community, and finding your own way into Jewish life.
Luma Hebrew School is a welcoming, hands-on Jewish experience for children ages 4–10 of all abilities. Through music, movement, art, stories, games, holiday experiences, and interactive learning, children explore Jewish traditions and build a connection to their Jewish identity in ways that are meaningful and fun.
We believe Jewish learning should be something children can experience, not just learn about. Our goal is to help each child feel comfortable, included, and connected to the Jewish community while building skills and experiences they can carry into everyday life.
Children learn alongside caring teen volunteers, creating opportunities for friendships and meaningful connections along the way. Each month brings something new to explore, celebrate, create, and experience together.
Our program is supported by a special education teacher and behavior specialist, helping us create an environment where every child can participate, feel supported, and be themselves.
